Surface Mounted Bolt is generally refers to a type of bolt or latch that is installed on the surface of a door or gate, rather than being recessed into the material. These bolts are visible on the face of the door or gate and are often used for securing doors, cabinets, or other similar structures.

Surface Mounted Bolt Function - consist of a bolt mechanism that can be extended or retracted to secure or release the door or gate. They are often used for added security or as a convenient way to keep doors closed.
