Window Block Lock is a versatile safety lock for sliding and sash windows.

Window Block Lock Function - allows the resident to lock the safety device in position, and then open and close the window to that position without using a key to lock and unlock each time.

New legislation was passed in March 2013 by the NSW Government to prevent children falling from windows.

All windows above the ground floor in any existing residential strata schemes must be fitted with a lock or safety device which prevents the window opening more than 12.5 cm by 13th of March 2018.

The Building Code of Australia which made window safety devices compulsory in new residential buildings from 1 May 2013.
