Primary Lock Short Backset is commonly used as the primary locking mechanism on residential entry doors, especially when the door has a narrow stile or limited space between the door edge and frame.

Primary Lock Short Backset Function - designed to engage with a corresponding strike plate installed on the door frame or jamb. When the door is closed and the bolt is engaged, it securely holds the door in place.
